Less than a mile from downtown Ojai, RMR is a working regenerative ranch steeped in California history.

Despite its massive scale, few people have been to RMR in the last 100+ years. It’s stunning wide-open pastures, 300-year-old oak groves and dramatic views were locked away.

We’ve spent the last 5 years restoring RMR to a prime example of what a California ranch should be. First, we let the land rest and embraced nature. We began to rotationally graze sheep, goats and egg laying hens throughout the ranch, reducing wildfire fuel while improving soil health. Recently, we’ve begun to grow organic fruits vegetables and grains using regenerative techniques to improve ecosystem health.

Inside our gates, time slows down. You’ll find easy access to a wide variety of locations - a 100 year old barn, a large pond teaming with birds and fish, incredible mountain views, natural springs, lone majestic oaks, wildflowers, prairies, agriculture, and so much more.
