Less than a mile from downtown Ojai, RMR is an organic-certified ranch steeped in California history.

Despite its massive scale, few people have visited RMR in the last 100+ years. Our stunning wide-open pastures, 300-year-old oak groves and dramatic views were locked away.

We’ve spent the last 5 years restoring RMR after decades of neglect. We let the land rest and embraced nature. We started to rotationally graze sheep, goats and egg laying hens throughout the ranch, reducing wildfire fuel while improving soil health. Recently, we’ve begun to grow fruits, vegetables and grains using regenerative techniques to improve ecosystem health.

Inside our gates, time slows down. You’ll find easy access to a wide variety of locations - a 100 year old barn, a large pond teaming with birds and fish, incredible mountain views, natural springs, lone majestic oaks, wildflowers, prairies, agriculture, and so much more.
